Sweet is the rest that waits
On yonder shining shore,
Where all the loved again shall meet,
And parting is no more.

O love divine shall light
And guild the moments fleet,
In that sweet home of sacred rest
That waits our weary feet.

Praise Him whose promise sure
Can Soothe the troubled breast
Whose many mansions ope their doors
To give the weary rest.
