There's a better day to come,
When our hearts shall all be glad;
When sin and death will ne'er be known,
When no hearts shall e'er be sad.

There's a better day to come,
When our feet shall never stray;
When light from heav'n will ne'er grow dim,
And shall brighten all our way.

There's a better day to come,
When all wrongs shall be made right;
When God himself, the righteous Judge,
Will decide with truth and might.

There's a better day to come,
When we'll praise our Lord above;
For help and grace on man bestowed,
For his wondrous saving love.
