That Home Above

No earthly home have I,
Nor much to call my own,
And many trials lie
Around my pathway lone.

But in that home above,
Where saints and angels are,
I know a voice of love,
Of welcome waits me there.

My Jesus is my all,
On him I can depend!
For kindly doth he call
Each trusting soul a friend.

So here I'll work and wait,
Until I hear him say:
Come, enter heaven's gate,
And with me live for aye.
