Oh the peace that in Jesus I find!
How it cheers me amid all my care;
It is sweet to the sorrowing mind,
In this precious salvation to share.

Yes, I know that my Saviour is mine,
That He never will leave me to die;
Tho' in weakness I often repine,
He will fill all my soul by and by.

By His Spirit He dwells with me now,
And His voice is so gentle and still;
As before Him in worship I bow,
It is sweet to submit to His will.

Then still nearer to Him may I live;
More and more of His love, is my prayer;
Every blessing I need will He give,
And receive me at home over there.
