More Faith In Thee

More living faith, O Saviour,
We daily, hourly need,
That we may come with boldness,
For dying souls to plead.

More earnest faith to labor,
More ardent faith to pray,
More steadfast faith to follow
Where Thou dost lead the way.

A faith that will not waver,
Tho' tried on every hand;
A faith against temptation,
That like a rock will stand.

Let this the one petition
Of every Christian be;
Increase, O blessed master,
Increase our faith in Thee.
