Blessed Saviour! Thou art my hope and stay,
Thy protecting hand leads me all the way,
Keep me ever near with the cross in view,
Lead me, step by step, all my journey through.

Oh, the wondrous care and the loving hand
Of this trusty guide, and the steadfast friend,
Who will not forsake whatso'er betide;
Those who trust His word, in His love abide.

Thro' the storms of life, when the tempests play,
Then He calms the winds, and the waves obey;
