Ev'ry day new mercies greet thee;
Ev'ry day new joys are thine;
Gifts of heaven's loving kindness;
Tokens of the love divine.

O how manifold God's blessings!
More than thou canst number o'er;
Yet in kindness he bestoweth
Daily mercies more and more.

Not a good his hand withholdeth;
Not a joy his love denies;
Each new blessing he unfoldeth
Fills our hearts with new surprise.

Shall we not be grateful to him
For his mercies manifold,
And in each new gift he sends us
All his wondrous grace behold?
