The Cross

I will follow Jesus where He leads me;
I will seek His face and praise him day by day;
I will ever labor where He needs me:
I will bear the cross and follow all the way.

When the clouds and shadows overtake me,
I will simply trust, and never, never fear;
Tho' my dear ones wander and forsake me,
I can bear it all, for Jesus will be near.

When temptations bitterly assail me,
I will rest secure upon His mighty arm;
And His keeping power will not fail me,
If I trust His grace to shleter me from harm.

When I cross the Jordan He will hold me;
In His gentlearms securely I will rest;
In His loviong bossom He will fold me;
I will sweetly sleep upon the Savior's breast.
