Some More Convenient Time

Some more convenient time,
Oh! Not today;
Dark seems the Christian’s life,
Long is the way;
Some more convenient time,
When I’m more free
From all these little cares;
I’ll come to thee.

Some more convenient day!
Sinner come now;
Low at the feet of Christ,
Prayerfully bow;
Some more convenient time!
No longer roam,
While it is called today,
Sinner come home.

Come to the Savior now,
No more delay;
Jesus is passing by,
Yield thee today;
Jesus is calling now,
No longer roam,
A more convenient time
Will never come.
