Send The Gospel Light

Send the light of life to all mankind,
And help their precious souls to save;
Tho' long in darkness, lost and blind,
Salvation now they deeply crave.

Send the light of joy to saddened homes,
By song and word, by praise and pray'r,
By deeds where love with mercy comes
And lightens hearts weighed down by care.

Send the light of peace to doubting hearts,
For whom our blessed Lord did die;
Lift up the fallen point them, to
That home, that heav'nly home on high.

Send the light, the beautiful light,
Send the light both far and wide,
Send the light, till ev'ry nation shall accept the crucified.
