"Lamb of God," my dearest friend,
"Now on me Thy blessing send;"
Never leave me all alone,
Till I reach my heavenly home,
"Lamb of God my Savior dear,"
All is peace whil'st Thou are near.

"Lamb of God," be Thou my guide,
Ever keep me by Thy side,
Let Thy will my steps control,
Fill with love my weary soul,
"Lamb of God my Savior dear,"
All is joy whil'st Thou art near.

Teach me how my cross to bear,
Lift from me all worldly care,
May my soul with faith abound,
Ever full of joy be found,
"Lamb of God my Savior dear,"
All is well whi'st Thou art near.

May sweet hope like morning star,
Be my beacon from afar;
Make my earthly pathway bright,
Till my soul be filled with light,
"Lamb of God my Savior dear,"
All is safe whil'st Thou art near.

When at last I'm spirit born,
Then with righteousness adorn,
All my being clothed in white,
I'll be pure in Jesus sight,
"Lamb of God my Savior dear,"
I'm at rest whil'st Thou art near.
