I will do what I can blessed Jesus, for thee,
'Tho my efforts are but as a drop in the sea;
For I love thee and while for thy blessings I pray,
I will trust in thy guidance and strength each day.

I will do what I can, 'tho but feeble my light,
I must keep my lamp burning for dark is the night;
If I hold it aloft, some poor soul that is lost,
May be led by its glimmer to Calvary's cross.

I will do what I can, in my lifework, to prove
There is joy in the service, and rest in thy love,
So that others may long thy salvation to see;
It is thus that the weakest may glorify thee.
