Dear Saviour! the battle of life is so great,
Its burdens for me are too heavy to bear;
I come, for with Thee it is never too late,
With faith and with confidence Asking Thy care.

My hope is in Thee, Thou desire of my soul,
My trust and affections shall none other share;
To Thee ev-er com-ing, my life now control,
